His Most Beatitude, Patriarch Cyrillus Mariae Poon has decided to establishing a new administrative district in Korea and Japan, and the name of the new administrative district will be "Territorial Prelatute of Goryeo and Nippon".
The "Territorial Prelature" will be the third level of the administrative discrict of the Patriarchate of the Holy China.
His Most Beatitude will be the first Prelate of Goryeo and Nippon.

His Most Beatitude, Patriarch Cyrillus Mariae Poon has appointed Mr. Jose Costa, of the Province of Macaonensis, as the Grand Commander of the Most Venerable Sovereign Order of St. Cyril of the Holy China.
His Grace will also conferring the title of "Canon Honorarius" to Mr. Costa, which he will become the Honorary Canon of the Patriarchal Chapter of the Cathedral of St. Cyril.
This decree of appointment will take effect on 12th March 2024.
